Royal Jewel Heist Empty Royal Jewel Heist

Post by thrdthu Sun Sep 16, 2018 7:33 pm

The Kingdom of Lvneel was quite a lovely place. Rolling hills. Green grass. Lovely fair skinned people under the rule of a kindly royal family, at least that was how the papers described them. Truthfully Angelo didn't quite care how kindly they were or were not. The Royal family was the ruling power and thusly they were the law of this land, had a lot of money, and being supported by the marines as being just. To Angelo their very position was goodly by the very fact that they were in power in a peaceful country. It made absolute sense, then, that when the Villain arrived into town it was for the sole purpose of robbing them blind.

Angelo had arrived at half past noon, having stowed away upon a mail vessel between the boards of the ship's deck, the space less than a centimeter wide, but perfectly comfy for a man who could flatten himself out perfectly. Upon docking Angelo simply stepped out from within the cracks of the deck and walked upon the shore, scaring the mail crew half to death, a maniacal laughter of amusement at this fact muffled only by the haunting echo of his trusty plague mask.

Angelo breathed deep the scent of herbs that filled the nose of his mask, the scent of mint strongly wafting into his nose as he began to meander down the road, slinging his umbrella over his shoulder like a blunt instrument. If one listened close they could hear the cheerful humming of the Villain himself as he waltzed down the street. So joyous was he that he stopped in the middle of the street in a complete stupor, realizing he forgot the most important thing before performing an act of heinous villainy such as robbing the royal family of a country of the entirety of the royal treasury straight from their coffers.

You have to brag about it to the local authorities.

Angelo's head craned to the side in an owl like manner and slowly turned itself toward the nearest pub. Perfect! A place where the masses collect. No better place than here to engage in horrible acts of daring do. Angelo's coat rustled wildly as he kicked open the doors to the pub and spread his arms wide to the crowd.

"Hello and well met! I am-" the villain began before realizing how filthy the establishment was. No. No surely this wasn't a rated restaurant of any kind. Angelo looked around wildly and in a panic before he placed his umbrella in the rack and made a break to the bar. "I'm sorry, but may I PLEASE borrow your broom, mop, and wash rag? They are of the upmost importance. I-I can't do my monologue in a place this filthy.

The bar owner raised an eyebrow in confusion, with a gaze that took uterly too long for Angelo's case as he scoffed and began to search the bar for a utility closet from which to clean the place.

    Angelo cleaned every nook.

    Angelo swabbed every cranny.

The villain even left and bought a tooth brush to make sure he got every crack and corner in the establishment.

It took an hour of hard work after finding the closet, but Angelo left the the place completely spotless. He sighed with relief and straighted his hat once more before going back to the entrance. Many patrons were surely confused watching a man dressed with a plague mask frantically cleaning for an hour.

Angelo cleared his throat and grabbed his umbrella as he stepped outside of the doors of the bar. Then, with a soldig kick Angelo bellowed out, "Hello and well met! I am the undoer of your wretched Kingdom! I am the Villainous and horrible Angelo Coyote! I am here to steal every penny from the royal family! By the end of this day I shall make yoru king a popper and myself your new lord! Call your constable and town guard, for I shall not leave this place in any condition but ruin! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The bar owner stood watching in awe as peculiar-looking stranger cleaned up his disheveled bar. My god.... I've never really seen anyone clean in such detail like this awkward looking man. I'm quite impressed. He thought to himself while leaning against the bar counter. An hour had passed, the bar was left spotless. The strange man picked up his umbrella and upon exiting the bar he blurted something which left the bar owner and folks present around in befuddlement. I can't believe what he just said. Especially... after cleaning up my place as he did. I didn't even get to say thank you. I just hope he didn't mean what he said cause Lyneel is full of authority maaaannn. Impressed by the strange man's kind act he stood up and started barking orders at his lazy waitresses to pick up the slack.

The mass of the patrons were too drunk to even hear what the strange man had said. However, there was one of the patrons that immediately became discomfort. Why? Simply the appearance of that man was straight out wicked. Out of curiosity, he followed the strange looking man out of the bar. It was afternoon and the guy stood out like an eyesore due to his hideous appearance. The townsfolk who were amidst stared at him as if he was some type of alien.

Ever the showman Angelo unfurled his umbrella in a dramatic fashion and hoisted it over his head, casting a shadow over his head on this bright and sunny day as he marched down the street. He knew where he needed to go and there was really no stopping him as he moved towards the castle in the distance. He made sure to crane his neck and look at every passing child with his dark eyes behind his haunting plague mask. He didn't want to leave any child without a terrifying nightmare, after all.

So immersed in his power march and child scaring that he didn't even notice the fact that he was being followed, nor did he particularly care. Angelo was about to do his first truly villainous act in a fresh new world. He was sure to succeed and make a name for himself, after all who would suspect such an innocent face as himself? NO ONE!

Angelo marched his way towards the castle for what seemed like hours before he came upon the main gate and nodded to the guards at the entrance. "Hello you foolish guards of this Cas-" Angelo paused his villainous introduction once more as he looked the guards over and pulled out a lint roller from his coat. He walked over to one of them and extended the lint roller.

"You mind if I give you a quick roll? I just...I can't do my evil introduction with all that dander on your shoulders. It won't take but a moment. Please. I-it is just...I mean...I'm just going to roll you real quick, just real quick. It won't take a moment.' Angelo started muttering as he began to try and roll his lint roller all over the shoulders of one of the guards.

The patron tailed behind the strange man. Children throughout Bowtumee grew terrified as the weirdo stared directly at them while walking by. A handful of parents came to their children's aid and ordered them to get inside their house quickly. "Mom, that guy scared us!" one of the children told their parents. As alarmed as they grew, they didn't want to approach the weirdo due to fear. Drunk in the midst of this. The patron of the bar didn't like what he saw. Being a resident of Bowtumee, he wouldn't tolerate this any further. This is bullshit! I'm going to cal-l-l him out. T'issss guy is definitel-ly up to no good. He thought to himself while following the weirdo. After a couple of hours, they arrived in Kneel City. The patron of the bar was huffing and puffing as he grew dehydrated especially since there was no beer around. I'll catch up to you later youu..... He poofed away in the crowd of people.

The sun had started to come down slowly. There was a nice natural breeze which swayed its way into the city of Kneel. Everything seemed like your average day until there was a disarray occurring at the gates of the royal kingdom palace. A weirdo had approached two of The King's Honor Guardsmen at the main gate.

"Hello you foolish guards of this Cas-"

Once they heard the word 'foolish guards' they became solemn. "What is your business here you vile looki-" one of the guards questioned weirdo then paused. They stood befuddled for a moment when the weirdo took out a lint roller from his coat. What is this guy up to?!

"You mind if I give you a quick roll? I just...I can't do my evil introduction with all that dander on your shoulders. It won't take but a moment. Please. I-it is just...I mean...I'm just going to roll you real quick, just real quick. It won't take a moment."

As the weirdo attempted to use the lint roller on one of the guards. The guard raised up his shield to push back the lint roller. This immediately got them on the defensive. Both guards had their shield raised up and hands placed on the hilt of their sheathed sword. "State your business here at the main gate stranger! If you want to enter you need a special permission! Any further odd behavior coming from you and we'll take action!" bawled both the guardsmen in unison. The royal palace was heavily guarded consisting of a sum of a hundred men. Some knights behind the main gate grew weary of the situation. Once they saw their front get up in arms one of them pulled out a den den mushi from their pouch. In any case, things were to escalate.

Within the palace stood a shady figure with a fancy wine glass at hand. I can't wait to partake in the Honor Tournament so I can get my hands on Captain Powell again. Just having the thought of clashing my sword clashing against his combat knife makes my blood boil. My goshhhhhhh that'd be fun! the shady figure thought to himself while sipping on some fine wine and smiling afterward.

Angelo's hand trembled visibly as the guards refused to let him roll off any of the unsightly dander. How completely unreasonable to not let a cunning villain such as he give them a quick rolling of a lint roller before the start of the greatest heist in history. This was completely unprofessional and unheard of. Angelo heard their demands quite clearly, but didn't seem to register as he began to pace about, muttering his frustrations lowly and lettign the words echo back to him in his plague mask. He violently waved the lint roller every now and then before subtely swinging it back and forth, much like an orchestral conductor, as he was lost in his own obsessions.

Quickly Angelo turned upon his heel and looked the guards straight in the eye, his shoulders tense with a pure and solid anger that seemed to trembled down his spine like a cascade of water. Angelo forcefully shoved the roller into his coat once more before looking at the guards. His head swayed back and forth, looking between the two guards quite sternly from beneath his plague mask, before snarling. The snarl was came out somewhat garbled due to the plague mask's reverberations, sounding more like a dying giraffe.

"You two are the most unprofessional heroes I have ever met! Look at your uniforms! Disgraceful! How can you expect anyone to come here and perform a heist of famous jewelry and other nefarious deeds if you are standing here in such a slovenly state? My god! Has no one ever dealt with a proper villain in this city before?" Angelo barked out before looking over the most dander covered guard and looking him right in the eyes.

"I would like to speak with your manager, sir! Right this instant! There is no way I can rob the king of his valuables under these conditions!"

The guards noticed his hand trembling to their response towards him. They stood tall and firm, while the oddball didn't quite like their response. Faint muttering could be heard coming from him but the guards couldn't decipher as to what the man was saying. Question marks appeared above their head as the oddball started swinging the lint roller back and forth. To them, it seemed as if the man was having some type of seizure. "What the hell is going on with this guy?" one of the guards thought to themselves as they observed intently.

They held on on the hilt of their shield firmly as the oddball put away the lint roller. It was obvious he wasn't happy. He looked at both of them as if he was going to retaliate in an offensive manner. The knights from behind the main gateway were ready to strike and call upon their leader in any case things were to get out of hand.

Angelo wrote:"You two are the most unprofessional heroes I have ever met! Look at your uniforms! Disgraceful! "Why would anyone attempt to perform a heist here you oddball?! Again, I won't repeat myself a third time... State your business here otherwise we'll have to escort you away from the main gate," squawked the knight who the oddball was staring directly at.

Angelo wrote:"I would like to speak with your manager, sir! Right, this instant! There is no way I can rob the king of his valuables under these conditions!"

"What did you say?! Honor Guards!!!!!!!! This vile looking individual is trying to attempt to rob our king!!!!!" yelled out the knight so the rest of his squadron could be informed. One of the knights that stood behind the main gate rose up his den den mushi immediately and spoke into it, "We have a possible robbery attempt which is going to occur at the main gate!!!!! I repeat. We have a possible robbery attempt which is going to occur at the main gate!!! The suspect is wearing a black trench coat accompanied by an odd looking plague-like mask!" Fifteen guards from behind the main gate gathered up in a V-like formation to intercept the culprit in case he was to attempt to even get past the main gate.

The glass of fine wine fell off his hand. "What the hell is going on out there?! Notify the Marine Base in front of us in any case things are to get out of hand so they are aware of this situation. What dummy would even dare to declare to rob us singlehandedly?!" Bow yelled out as he stood up and raced his way out of the royal palace main ingress. One of the guards he commanded paced towards a den den mushi sitting on the table and started to commute with the Marine Base in front of the Royal Palace. The two guards didn't think twice. "Your not going to rob anything!" one of them charged forward, unsheathed his sword, and swung his sword diagonally in an attempt to hit the oddball's chest. The other remained a few feet behind to serve as a backup in any case anything were to go wrong. The knights that were in V-formation behind the gate had started to march forward.

A menacing presence of authority could be felt behind them all. It was no other than Bow himself. It was not every day you got to see this individual separated from his King. As the King was always surrounded by three men of the King's Honor Guard. Bow is one of them being the leader of the King's Honor Guard. Bow walked down the royal palace elongated stairway while slowly unsheathing his sword. His destination: Main Gateway.

Post by thrdthu Fri Oct 05, 2018 1:32 am

Angelo was never one to be known as a scrapper. He had been too sick as a child to really get into many scrapes. He never really learned how to fight either. He read a lot of books and understood the concepts of fisticuffs, but never really felt it was necessary to be truly villainous. The best villains just get things done and that is that, right? No fuss. No muss. Just efficiency.

So it came as a surprise to Angelo that the reading he had done would come in so handy right now when the royal guard seemed to be acting in a continually uncouth manner! There had been a lot of shouting and puffing of chests as the guards tightened up and one of the pair seemed to charge forward, drawing his sword and swinging.

Angelo didn't even take a moment as he stepped forward, his umbrella held low. As the blade began to come out of the sheath and up in a diagonal motion the villain's shoulder seemed to plant itself against the guard's elbow. As he took his pushing step forward Angelo slide his umbrella between the spread legs of the guard. Angelo's lunging step blocked the sword strike before it even came, and had the added benefit to push back at the guard.

But what was best about this very moment?

Because Angelo placed his umbrella between the legs ot the guard, who had to spread them to keep a proper stance, he would have to reposition his weight and legs with the umbrella getting in the way. It was a sure fire way to make a man trip and fall on their ass.

"Do you treat all your guests like this? Quite shameful. I suppose you just don't know how to deal with true villains, perhaps a nice nap would take care of your grumpiness," Angelo stated sternly while making sure to keep mind of the back up guard as well as his current opponent.

[OOC: Note both guards including the attacking one have had their shield held up since post 4 of this thread. Since we are now going into PVN (Player vs. NPC), please be specific as to which x arm, x leg, x etcetera you are using in your attack. That way we both are on the same page. My attacking knight attacked with his sword using his right hand. A shield which you ignored is on his left. I'm going to react accordingly. Also be aware that each regular knight has Fortune of 8. Bow's Fortune is 50.]

The guy wasn't such an oddball after all. He actually had the balls to go up against the King's Honor Guard. Thus he responded to the knight's diagonal slash attempt which failed to land successfully. The oddball managed to defend appropriately to it by closing gaps and planting his shoulder on the knight's elbow. In this instance, the opponent failed to realize the guard had a long shield in his left hand held near his chest covering a portion of his thighs. Being close up as he was the guard didn't hesitate to react spontaneously,"Geppu!" he made an attempt to shield bash the oddball out of the way.

[OOC: Since I have a long shield you'd be bashed all together with your umbrella that you attempted to slide through my legs with my shield being present.]

If the bash were to land successfully it'd define a slap to face while causing his opponent to get pushed back. In the same instance, it'd also create the perfect opening for an opportunity to inflict damage with secondary slash attempt while getting shoved away by the guard's shield. These King's Honor Guard were no joke. Undergoing Bow's severe training to become a guard they had to know how to hold their own. In the meantime, the other guard didn't hesitate to respond. He unsheathed his sword with his left hand, dragged the sword against the ground behind him in a peculiar manner, and kept his shield at hand with his right as he paced towards their opponent.

"Give it all you got my guards and teach this so-called thief a lesson!" shouted Bow as he finished descending upon the stairs and started walking towards the main gate. The fifteen guards in the V-Formation started exiting out the main gate in pairs of three. A set of six guards from the left and right-hand side outside the royal palace behind the gate started to gather in what seemed to be a chess-like formation.

Whether an individual would be a weak or strong adversary. Threats by no means were taken lightly. Which is why Bow trained his men to react in a strategic manner for these type of instances.

Post by thrdthu Fri Oct 05, 2018 11:46 pm

Angelo could feel his umbrella get parried by the long shield that the knight had been wielding. He had thought there was enough room to stick his umbrella in between the knights legs when the knight had to shift the shield out of the way to slash with his blade, but apparently the knight was quick on the reaction. Angelo held the umbrella in his right hand and his left shoulder had been what struck the guard's right elbow as part of the shoulder block. Since the guard had to move his arm out past the shield just to attack, lest the shield get in the way, that meant the guard's sword arm was effectively between Angelo and the guard's shield.

When the guard moved his arm for the shield bash Angelo did the simplest thing ever. He simply pivoted along the guard's right side, placing his left hand on the guard's right shoulder as he pivoted and made it impossible for the guard to reach him with his shield since Angelo was simply pushing the guard's right arm towards his shield and kept his body so close that the guard had to thrust his shield across his own body, which would have his own body get in the way and make the attack worthless.

Angelo's pivot was exactly what was needed as he had to stay close. as he pivoted he smoothly pulled his umbrella away in a smooth motion and as he tried to pivot around the guard's back, keeping a hand upon the guard's elbow and keeping track of his movements, he readied the umbrella blade. When Angelo was sure he was in the spot of the guard's helmet he flicked his wrist quickly to slice at the most unrpotected part of the guard's armor: The tendons on the back of the knee. The blade at the end of his umbrella would be sharp enough to do the trick, and that part was more than likely lightly protected if at all, due to the fact that any protection on that part of the body would mean that Angelo would have a huge mobility advantage in this fight.

If the slice was successful then the villain would be able to cripple the guard and limit his mobility, since the tendon would be needed to stand on that leg and thusly to pivot, and with Angelo keeping so close to the guard and pivoting on his sword handling side then the guard would be unable to protect himself easily.

Still Angelo had to deal with the fact that the crowd was gettign a little too nasty, but it was obvious the big boss was there to deal with him. Very good. The castle was mostly unprotected on the inside then. All that was needed was showmanship now.

"I suppose it would take an entire castle to just deal with the messenger, after all my crew will descend upon your castle at nightfall and destroy this castle. I am simply the messenger for the great captain Omona Kibarashi and the Usotsuki Pirates! They already entered town when your island guard was too busy following me around to notice them sneaking in secretly! You'll never stop them!"

[OOC: My bad since now we're getting specific I forgot to state he had his shield up while conducting the said slash on post 6. Let the fun continue.]

The oddball was actually intelligent. His guise wasn't just all show like many other so-called villains. However, he wasn't the only smart one in combat here. These guards were trained well. The guard wanted his opponent to gain a boost of confidence when his shield bash wasn't effective. That was done purposely. The whole time the guard had an opportunity at hand to either strike or grapple his opponent in a headlock with his right hand. Which he didn't hesitate to do once the man started to pivot to his right side.

[OOC: Note this below is before you place your left hand on my shoulder.

    Knight's Honor Guard Stats:

    Strength - 9
    Speed - 8
    Stamina - 8
    Accuracy - 7]

With balanced control over his sword on his right hand, he quickly rotated it and attempted to conduct an overheard backstab against the individual's back. Shield on his right hand he turned it horizontal in preparation for phase two of his attack ducking down. In the midst of this, the other guard grew near, flicked dirt at the opponent's face with the sword he was dragging on the ground. He kept his shield up and the sword pointed in a lance-like manner as he approached the opponent. Three other guards grew near, lifted up their shields, and rose up arms at hand. One in possession of a sword and the other two with crossbows aimed at the individual. Their fingers held firmly on the trigger.

"You should just give up this needless fight you weirdo. You are obviously outnumbered. There are 100 of us in total and more of us in the castle. I see the way you carry yourself in battle but it isn't anywhere near enough to carry yourself around here. Let alone against me," said bow in a voice of authority. Afar in front of the royal palace footsteps could be heard stepping along the ground. It was no other than a set of ten Marines from Marine Base located right next to the Royal Palace. "Yo, Bow! What's going on over there?!" shouted Captain Powell. A minute afterward a drunk had shown up behind the marines. It was no other than the drunken patron of the bar. Huh?! He tapped on Powell's shoulder and told him everything about this oddball's actions in the bar. "I see... Why thank you old man. Now I'll request you leave for your own safety," he patted on the patron's shoulder with a broad smile wiped on his face. The patron didn't think twice and left immediately. He knew that once Powell got involved the matter would be situated soon.

    Captain Powell's Theme Song:

The Marines were clearly behind the opponent advancing from about 50 feet away. The oddball would eventually find himself surrounded from both the front, backside, soon both his left and right. Bow raised his hand, placed it in a salute-like manner above his eyebrow, and smiled. "Oh, it's nothing we can't take care of. You can sit and watch if you like. This punk actually wants to steal from our highness!" Bow yelled in response. Reverting back to his regular posture.

Oddball wrote:"I suppose it would take an entire castle to just deal with the messenger after all my crew will descend upon your castle at nightfall and destroy this castle. I am simply the messenger for the great captain Omona Kibarashi and the Usotsuki Pirates! They already entered town when your island guard was too busy following me around to notice them sneaking in secretly! You'll never stop them!"

"Oh, you think so? Omona Kibarashi? I've never heard of him sorry. Poor planning on your pirate crew's behalf. You really think I'd send all my 100 guards against a Halloween gimp like you and that my king's castle would be left unguarded? Captain Powell, Lieutenant Commander Chaosidy, and their men will be more than enough to deal with the rest of your no-fame pirate crew.  Now you're just going to get yourself served a dish of whoop-ass," he jumped over the main gate elegantly. Not the slightest sound could be heard as he landed gracefully.  Enough with this arrogance.

Was it the guard's counter attack that caused Angelo to panic? Was it the ever encroaching phalanx of burly armored men? Perhaps it was the overwhelming military might of the Marines closing in on his rear?

    No.

Angelo's eyes had widened and fear had gripped him for one reason. A small amount of dirt was being flung in his direction. "AH! OH MY GOD! NONONONONO!" Angelo panicked as he shoved off the guard he had been fighing and jumped away, unfurling his umbrella in one swift motion to block the dirt. He hadn't been concerned with engaging the castle guards this entire time, but the moment the prospect of him getting dirty came into reality, he became a whimpering child.

"No! No, this is not right! I was supposed to be the villain here! This is just a foul on all of you! If you guys aren't going to play fair then neither am I! I am going and you guys are a bunch of damn cheaters!" the villain barked out at his foes who outnumbered him. He simply raised his unfurled black umbrella overhead, high into the sky, before bringing it down over his body.

First his head became obscured by the umbrella, disappearing from sight. It was not unheard of for an umbrella to hide a man's face and head after all; however, an umbrella usually stops at the head or the shoulders, but this did not. Perplexingly the umbrella continued to descend the body. Hungrily devouring the villain's chest, his stomach, his thighs, his knees, and finally his feet.

Then suddenly, the villain was gone. His body vanished from that very spot. All that was left was, simply, an umbrella that wafted in the breeze. The apparel rolled upon its side and the black umbrella, upon investigation, was simply a normal umbrella with a blade for a tip. It was black as midnight and as quite nice, with a hooking handle from which to grasp by.

however, the real secret of this vanishing act, was that Angelo had not left at all, but rather flattened his body as it came in contact with the underside of his black umbrella. His fruit allowed him to become adhesive to any surface and flat as paper, if not flatter. He was, for all intents and purposes, two dimensional. With his black clothing all over his body it was basically impossible to tell where Angelo Coyote ended and the umbrella began...especially with Angelo's insistence on matching shades of black for all his wardrobe for he would be DAMNED if someone snuck something even a hint of Midnight Blue in his wardrobe, no matter how dark the shade.

But, with this, Angelo hoped they would buy his ruse that there was a pirate crew that secretly snuck onto the island to rob the palace. Maybe the guards would leave him be as long as he was an umbrella. Maybe they would confiscate the umbrella for evidence and he could just leave later. Maybe they would rush into the city and investigate where he may have gone. Angelo wasn't really caring about that much right now, as he was too busy silently sobbing and praying that he didn't have any filth on his clothes.

The guard who had engaged the oddball first stood aloof after being shoved to the side. He regained posture and stood on the defensive this time without approaching his opponent.

    "AH! OH MY GOD! NONONONONO!"

The other guard's distraction technique of ground debris ended up getting foiled so easily. Their opponent blocked it effectively by unfurling his umbrella in a swift motion. Out of all attacks that had been used against this opponent, the one he seemed to be the most concerned of was this one. Was it perhaps because that man didn't like to get dirty. That was something they'd have to find out in the long run. If they ever go got the chance to capture this culprit.

"No! No, this is not right! I was supposed to be the villain here! This is just a foul on all of you! If you guys aren't going to play fair then neither am I! I am going and you guys are a bunch of damn cheaters!"

All the guards that were approaching him paused momentarily with a question mark which stood above their head. The oddball was about to show his crowd an interesting performance. He raised his umbrella to the sky then as it came down upon him it was as if the audience was in a magic show. The umbrella seemingly appeared to be devouring the weirdo in a peculiar manner to the point that he vanished entirely.

"NANNNIIIIII?!!" one of the guards nearby yelled in amazement. All of them were surprised. They had no idea where their opponent left to. Bow and Captain Powell just stared at themselves from a distance with a question mark above their head. Most likely indicating, "What the hell just happenened?!" Bow didn't think twice to react. Now he took the man's words seriously. That act that he displayed wasn't ordinary whatsoever. He was no longer pushover in Bow's eyes anymore. "Attention all Honor Guard!  Return to your positions back at the Palace at once. We do not know where this magician-like individual could've gone. Be on the lookout! Protect the King and his dear possessions at all costs. Double up security outside at once as well!" he commanded fiercely while making different gestures with his sword at hand.

An hour had passed. Security at the royal palace was now doubled. Guards could be seen walking endlessly throughout the royal palace as if they were looking for someone. They knew that when Bow meant something he meant it. He wouldn't take anything that would pose a threat to his beloved kingdom lightly. Bow returned back to his King and remained at his side as he did on a daily basis.

The Marines, on the other hand, were ordered to search Kneel City and Bowtumee for this magician's whereabouts. The umbrella which belonged to the magician was eventually picked up by Captain Powell. He didn't know what to do with it so he ended up dumping it in a trash can in an alleyway located in Kneel City as his subordinates and himself searched for the oddball restlessly

And there it was. The coup de gras. When Angelo "the Villain" Coyote was truly defeated and swore revenge on the entire kingdom. When he became a broken man and realized that theft was no longer an option, but rather the deaths of the entire royal family and marine on the island. That moment was, suitably, the moment Angelo's body was sent into the trash. His germophobia and obsessive compulsive disorder were his biggest crutches in life and to be tossed aside as he had meant that he had to touch such revolting refuse.

It was an hour before Angelo slithered out of the trash. It didn't take him long to slither into a bath house, wash away the filth, and slither back away. He made sure to avoid the marines throughout the island, sticking to the walls in his tile form as he moved. Making sure he blended with the shadows and moved quickly. Angelo was going to leave this island insulted, but he would return very shortly and with new wicked ideas to rend this island apart. He would have those jewels on a matter of principle now and he would make sure to exact a very torturous revenge on the marine captain and the royal guard.

    Such contemptible curs.

    Such rupugnant ruffians

Such low down no good sons of bitches.

As Angelo hid in the cracks of a mailing vessel's deck, flat as paper, he simply scowled at the island. "Monte Christo" he whispered silently to himself and noted every inch of the island, burning its image into his memory as the ship he stowed away on sailed away.

As the night grew near the mischevious-looking magician was nowhere to be found throughout the island. Captain Powell just couldn't accept the fact that this guy got out of their hands while being right in front of their noses. Throughout the course of the night, he eventually gave out an order for all the Marines to return to their pertaining bases. He wasn't your type of Captain to give up easily but he wasn't dumb either. The man didn't want all his men to use up all their stamina in case a random pirate onslaught was to spur up out of the blue. He eventually went back to his base of command in front of the royal palace. Sitting down near the doorway of the base, pulling out a cigar from his metallic box, sparking it afterward with a lighter, and taking a puff out of it to alleviate his stress for the day. "Well, that pretty much wraps the day," he said to himself as he exhaled smoke deliberately into the air.

In the meantime, things at the castle became less tense. Powell eventually communicated with Bow via den den mushi. He then placed his guards on light duty for the remainder of the night. "I can't believe that oddball just poofed away from us like that," he sighed while playing around with his sword. He was actually looking forward for this oddball to come back and attempt to steal from his highness. It turned out to be a setback after all. As for the drunken patron... he was found sleeping underneath a tree just outside of the royal palace. Counting the sheep as they jumped over the fence in his dream. Reeking like alcohol as he forgot to go home to his wife for the second day in a row.

[OOC: That about sums it up.]

    thrdthu - 5 SD, 50,000 beli, 1,000 bounty
    Katakuri - 2 SD, 20,000 beli

    Notes:

    • Short and sweet, but a very consistent quality throughout. As usual, Chance's character designs shine very brightly and fit into the One Piece theme extremely well...
    • ...even if he comically bit off more than he could chew. Hats off for being the first character to tango with someone of that caliber, even if you had to quickly retreat.
    • For attempted theft and causing such a disturbance at the royal palace, a man who would much later on be identified as Angelo Coyote was issued a bounty of  Currency  1,000.
